What is Vitrectomy ?
Vitrectomy is surgery to remove some or all of the vitreous humor from the eye. Anterior vitrectomy entails removing small portions of the vitreous humor from the front structures of the eye—often because these are tangled in an intraocular lens or other structures. Wikipedia

You will be referred to the hospital emergency department for an emergency doctor visit
You will be referred to medical lab for the blood test.
You will be referred to radiology if the emergency doctor orders you.
You will be admitted to the surgical ward and preoperative treatment will be performed for you
You will be taken to the operating room for surgery
The operation takes about 2 hours, then you are transferred to recovery and then to the surgical ward, and postoperative treatment is performed for you.
The same day you will be discharged with instruction in medication, post-operative care, and time to visit the doctor office (depending on each doctor and It may be the same day or the next day or a week later) and get the educational pamphlet.
